Vehicle Description For sale is this fine 1957 Chevrolet Corvette Serial Number E57S101969.
The car is owned by my friend and i am helping him sell it.
This Corvette is one of 6337 Corvettes manufactured in 1957 and is one of only 1621 with a two 4 barrel carburetor set up.
This particular car is one of the even more rare 270 Horsepower cars.
This car is an award winner with the National Corvette Restorers Society and also is a Bloomington Gold award winner.
Such recognition assures a potential owner that the the words matching numbers really mean that they match.
This car was taken off the frame and restored by a gentleman in Arkansas over an 18 month build period.
The current owner bought the car in June 2014.
Since that time it has not been driven more than just a few miles (15 max) per month.
The odometer shows 31520 and was not turned back when it was restored.
Every nut and bolt on the ar was touched in the restoration process.
The car is excellent in every respect.
All instruments, lights, radio, etc operate.
It has a push button radio and an optional windshield washer.
The interior is pristine as is the exterior.
The car has it's original 283 cubic inch engine and numbers certified carburetors.
All ignition shielding covers are in place.
The car has a 3 speed manual transmission.
The engine was rebuilt when the restoration was done and the car cranks and drives like a 1957 Corvette.
It runs straight and true, stops well and is a blast to drive.
Both convertible and hard tops come with the car.
The car is currently in Madison, Ms.
(close to where I55 and I20 intersect near Jackson, Ms).
