Financial Analyst 1,

Position Overview:
The Financial Analyst will provide support to the Finance Team, working closely with and under the direction of the Finance Department Leadership. Capable of translating detailed ERP system information into finance reports, review expense charging detail and resolve errors and omissions, and formulate data trends and forecasts, the Financial Analyst will work with, communicate, and collect reports on indirect expenses and headcount throughout the Vertex Aerospace Division. The Financial Analyst will also coordinate with all company department and program leads to ensure timely receipt of information and data, and delivery of subsequent reports and presentations, as well as provide assistance as requested to ensure the Indirect Expense and Headcount Detail is maintained and reviewed with error correction as required.

Responsibilities:
Compiles and reviews financial operating plans and forecasts for division organization as it relates to orders, sales, income, and cash flow using actual performance, contract estimates to complete, business development and pricing inputs, and other data sources to provide timely and accurate reporting to Division, Sector, Group and Corporate as required.
Prepares financial plans, monitors implementation of financial policies, prepares regular and special-purpose reports, maintains historical records, and analyzes trends through data analysis.
Recommends and interprets planning policies and procedures, prepares comparative evaluation of actuals against plan/forecast, and determines rationale for variances between costs and plan/forecast.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field with 0 years of experience with general knowledge of industry practices in Finance, OR an Associates with 4 years of finance related experience. An equivalent combination of experience and education may also be accepted.

Qualifications:
Working knowledge of SAP (BOBJ & BPC Tools)
Advanced PowerPoint & Excel Skills
Government Contracting and FAR and Cost Accounting Standards experience
Excellent time management and decision-making skills
Minimal travel may be required.
