Job Description:
We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an Apprentice Electricians with experience bending a running EMT conduit.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical work, a solid understanding of conduit systems, and a passion for learning and advancing their skills in the electrical trade.
Responsibilities:
Conduit Installation:
Proficiently install, bend, and thread conduits of various types and sizes according to electrical specifications and project requirements.
Blueprint Reading:
Interpret electrical drawings and blueprints to determine the layout and installation of conduit systems.
Wiring and Termination:
Assist in the wiring and termination of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and safety standards.
Material Handling:
Responsible for the proper handling and storage of electrical materials, tools, and equipment.
Collaboration:
Work closely with journeyman electricians and other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Problem Solving:
Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, proposing effective solutions with attention to quality and efficiency.
Continuous Learning:
Actively seek opportunities for professional development and advancement within the electrical trade.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Prior experience in conduit bending and installation is required.
Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring, and terminations is a plus.
Experience running/bending EMT conduit 1/2 to 1 is REQUIRED.
Certifications:
OSHA 10 or 30 certification is desirable.
Skills:
Proficient in conduit bending, threading, and installation 1/2 to 1Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Basic understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and perform duties requiring physical strength and endurance.
TOOLS:
Must have hand tools and impact driver and proper PPE.
