6 Full-time 2 hours ago Full Job Description Reporting Relationship:
This is a highly visible role reporting to Corporate Accounting Manager (CAM).
This role supports General Ledger & Financial reporting functions for V2X Inc.
Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
The incumbent is responsible for oversight of the General and Technical Accounting teams.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Trial Balance review, month-end close reporting; reviewing account reconciliations; reviewing flux analyses.
Responsible for preparing schedules and other accounting data for external accountants to support audits of our financial statements.
Receives moderate supervision from the CAM and has extensive contact with individuals outside the Accounting organization.
Oversee the General Ledger team, and month-end/quarter-end closes which includes closing project ledger as well as general ledger books in SAP.
Will be heavily involved in ERP implementation for the newly acquired section of the business.
Review Journal entries and account reconciliations during/after close.
Maintain month-end close task lists for each month.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure all the entries/processes are complete in the month-end close task list - AP accruals, Subcontract accruals, Payroll Accruals, Journal Entries, flash review, etc.
Work very closely with the business managers to review monthly Estimates at Completion (EACs), and review contracts for proper setup to establish proper revenue recognition under ASC 606 guidance.
Oversee the implementation of other new accounting standards if there are any new standards in the future.
Oversee preparation of schedules and other accounting data for external auditors as well as internal auditors.
Follow and abide by Corporate internal control guidelines.
Supervisory and Leadership Experience including staff development actions required for the role.
Educate/mentor the team and provide guidance as necessary.
Work closely with the Compliance department to support DCAA/DCMA audits and Accounting System audits.
Work closely with the team to pull data for External Audit inquiries at year-end Plan/work with External Auditors for Walkthroughs Professional Requirements, Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university in Accounting/Finance and 4
years of directly related work experience 1
years of Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting 1
years of General Ledger Month-End Close experience 1
years of financial statement Audit experience Experience with account reconciliations Government contracts experience is highly preferred Strong Leadership, holding teams accountable for Performance-Based deliverables.
Highly organized with a proven ability to multitask Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - variance analysis, reconciliations Strong in technical accounting - with accounting standards implementation backgrounds Strong Microsoft Excel skills required - pivot tables, V-Lookup - the ability to create and analyze a large data set Tenacious professional able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment maintaining a high level of personal integrity.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
